I can't believe it's almost been a year since Sarah & Todd's wedding! Sarah & Todd exchanged their vows on October 9, 2010. It was a beautiful fall day, much like today. The ceremony took place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington, Missouri and the reception followed at St. Francois Country Club. In addition to designing Sarah & Todd's flowers, we also created their invitations, programs, menu cards and table number cards.

Meghan & Tony

Rain, rain, go away! What a dreary Saturday morning! I thought Meghan and Tony's July wedding might help bring a little sunshine into our lives with all of the beautiful peonies. Meghan was also one of the sweetest brides... just look how stunning she is in these photos. Her cousin, Jaclyn Simpson, was the photographer and provided the images below.

Meghan and Tony had their ceremony at the oh so beautiful, Graham Chapel on Washington University's Campus. Their reception followed at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel.

Meghan's bouquet consisted of white peonies and her bridesmaids all carried pink peonies. It's so great that we're able to get such a gorgeous flower almost all year round now! Peonies are definitely in my top five favorite!

Jessica & Quinn

Jessica and Quinn had a beautiful summer wedding at the Missouri Botanical Gardens on August 14, 2010. Their ceremony took place in the Gladney Rose Garden and the reception followed in Spink Pavilion.

Jessica's bouquet consisted of lisianthus, gerbera daisies, roses, stock, hypericum berries and button pomps. The vibrant colors were perfect for their summer wedding!

Maria & Brian

Maria and Brian had the most beautiful day for their December 18th winter wedding. Their ceremony took place at St. Clement of Rome and they celebrated at the Crowne Plaza in Clayton.

I absolutely loved the bridesmaids' dresses!! We used hot pink gerbera daisies with black centers, fuchsia stock and Hot Lady roses to "pop" against the champagne & black lace. We left the gerbera daisies out of Maria's bouquet and added stargazer lilies and fuchsia dendrobium orchids.

Von DeVore did a truly amazing job photographing this wedding! I get so excited when the photographer gets a lot of the detailed shots. Flowers are definitely not easy to photograph. Thank you Von for these awesome photos!

Ashley & Donald

Ashley and Donald were married on October 23, 2010 at the beautiful Jewel Box in Forest Park. They had a small, intimate reception immediately following their evening ceremony. The lighting was absolutely breathtaking!

Ashley's bouquet consisted of gerbera daisies, hypericum berries, hydrangeas, green button pomps, Cherry Brandy roses (one of my favorites!) and mango calla lilies. Ashley's matron of honor carried a similar bouquet with the addition of zinnias.

Cheers to a New Year!

2010.....what a fantastic year! Not only did we get the opportunity to work with so many fabulous couples, but we also established several great relationships with other wedding professionals. Our last wedding was on New Year's Eve, making 53 for the year. It's so exciting to see how much we've grown. We already have 46 weddings booked for 2011!

I'll start the year off with Kerri & Jason's wedding that took place on May 30th. The ceremony was held at Southwest Baptist Church in St. Louis and the reception was at Lumen... one of my favorite reception venues! Kerri and I clicked within the first 5 minutes of her consultation and everything fell perfectly into place....did I mention our first meeting was 3 weeks before her wedding :) I loved her color palette, which is why this is one of my favorite weddings from 2010. Family & Friends

I'm so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people in my life. Check out these wedding photos of some of my closest friends and family members. What an honor to be included in their day...not only as a florist...but sister, bridesmaid, cousin, dear friend...whatever the title... I'm truly grateful for each and everyone one of them. Congratulations to all of you! I look forward to the continued memories we'll create and share together.

Kimberly & Bill

Kimberly is a dear friend that I've known since the first grade. Kimberly & Bill had a gorgeous wedding in Ste. Genevieve....our hometown. Kimberly had her 6 closest friends (including me) from grade school, her sister and three sisters-in-law as bridesmaids. From the shower, to the bachelorette party, to the wedding... what a great celebration! I wish we could do it all over again :) Check out their wedding in St. Louis Entertains magazine.

Ellie & Billy

I met Ellie while attending Stephens College where we studied Fashion Marketing & Management. We immediately became close friends! Ellie and Billy had a beautiful wedding ceremony in Costa Rica and celebrated with a reception back in St. Louis at Mad Art Gallery. Ellie and Billy are expecting a baby boy this March. I can't wait to meet baby Liam!

Crystal & Scott

Crystal is a dear friend that I've known since kindergarten. Crystal and Scott got married down in Ste. Genevieve at Charleville Winery....also where they met. It started off as a beautiful summer day. Right after they said their "I Dos" it started pouring down rain....coincidence... I think not :)

Jen & Nick

Nick and my husband are great college friends. I loved Jen the minute I met her and knew she and Nick were a perfect match. We had such a great time celebrating their wedding in Nashville, Tennessee and I enjoyed doing their flowers in such a beautiful setting. Now if only we could get them to move to St. Louis....

Jessica & Dave

Jessica and my dad are brothers, so I've basically known Jessica my whole life. Jessica and I probably look more alike than my own sister and I do! I've used Jessica's wedding pictures in a lot of my marketing materials and everyone is always asking me if it's me on my wedding day. Guess I should have thought that through a little better :)

Krista & Aaron

Aaron and I met in junior high. He may be one of the funniest guys I know! I'll never forget Krista's face when I went to hand her her bouquet. She had tears in her eyes because she was so happy and excited. It's times like these that make you love what you do :) Krista and Aaron had a gorgeous reception at The Studio Inn at St. Albans. The view was truly amazing.

Kelly & Jim

My dad and Kelly's mom are brother and sister, so I've basically known Kelly my whole life too. Kelly also grew up in Ste. Genevieve. We have shared so many fun times together...from our early childhood playing with cabbage patch kid dolls, to our first jobs as cashiers at my dad's pharmacy, to becoming adults and sharing a night out dancing! Kelly and Jim's wedding was the first wedding I had ever done completely on my own...since then, I've done over 100 more! Kelly and Jim are expecting....baby is due to arrive this summer.

Jessica & Keith

Keith has known me my entire life...literally. He is my older brother. We've been close to one another all our lives. He also attended school in Columbia and post college we were next door neighbors in St. Louis. We've also had a lot of the same friends, which later became beneficial. Keith and Jessica met through mutual friends of my husband. They are also expecting....baby is due to arrive late April. I'm thinking/hoping pink :)

It's the beginning of a new year and I'm making it my goal to update my blog every few weeks, rather than every few months :) I'm so anxious to see what 2010 is going to bring! So far, I have a good feeling.... One of my weddings I did last summer is going to be featured in two different publications (The Knot (St. Louis/Kansas City) and St. Louis Entertains Magazine). I'm also anxiously awaiting the January issue of Alive Magazine where some of my work will be featured.

Carolyn is a cousin to one of my best friends, and was the sweetest bride! We used lemons, limes and oranges to bring out the bright summer colors at her reception. Where did the summer go? I can't believe how many months have gone by since my last post. I opened a storefront back in June. It's located in downtown Belleville (1017 West Main Street) and is right next to 10th Street Baking Company. I highly recommend them for wedding cakes! I'll continue to specialize in weddings and special events and am now selling wedding invitations.
